- A large area of the skin of Kim Jane of Batangas is color black and has hair growing on it
- Her parents’ theory is that she was cursed by a kapre
- However, a dermatologist gave the correct diagnosis of Kim’s skin condition
A 4-year-old girl in Calaca, Batangas has a health disorder that turned to black a large area of her skin with hair growing on it.
KAMI learned that the parents of Kim Jane are theorizing that their child was cursed by a local mythical monster called “kapre.”
In a special feature by the GMA-7 News program “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” Kim’s mother said that she saw the kapre when she was having some sort of seizure while she was pregnant with the child .
The mother added that she offered the kapre food and that it walked backwards.
But when KMJS took the girl to a dermatologist, it was found out that Kim is suffering from a birth defect called congenital melanocytic nevi.
The condition can be fixed by skin grafting that would cost the family over P500,000. For this reason, they are asking help from viewers who can donate money for the procedure.
Here are some comments from netizens after watching the feature:
