A photo showing that bishops were kneeling down to pray in front of then President Corazon “Cory” Aquino went viral on social media. However, KAMI learned that this claim has been debunked.

“’Mama Cory Mother of Kris, Pray for us’, ‘Mother of Abnoy, Pray for us’...ganern?” it stated in the Facebook post’s caption.

As reported by ABS-CBN News, the viral photo was fabricated. It was composed of three different images combined together.

A French news agency, Agence French-Presse (AFP), has conducted a reverse image search. The photo of clergymen kneeling and praying was found in a website called “The Lady of All Nations.”
