- A lot of characters will soon say goodbye to their roles in “Ang Probinsyano”
- This is because of the forthcoming May 2019 elections
- This became the reason why the alleged date of the series’ final episode was revealed
Several reports from showbiz news websites revealed the alleged date when the top-rating teleserye, “Ang Probinsyano” will no longer be aired on television.
KAMI learned that the said drama series has been running for more than 3 years already and it maintains a huge number of viewers.
However, in an article published by Inquirer Bandera, it was questioned if the number one primetime series in the country will still last until the end of 2019.
This is because a lot of key artists in the teleserye will be running for positions in the 2019 midterm elections and they are not permitted to appear in any show at the start of the campaign period.
The names of these politicians are: Lito Lapid, Mark Lapid, Jhong Hilario and Edu Manzano.
In an interview with Deo Endrinal, the head of Dreamscape Entertainment, he expressed that it will be safe to say that “Ang Probinsyano” will still be airing until after the May 2019 elections.
It was also reported that the return of the actors seeking for positions in politics are still uncertain.
In a previous article by KAMI, Coco Martin finally responded to PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde regarding his rant versus the show.
“Ang Probinsyano” is a primetime action-drama series aired on ABS-CBN during weekdays. Its current story is based on its third book which features political issues.
