- Joross Gamboa aired his honest thoughts about co-artist Coco Martin
- He said that they already collaborated in projects before when the actor was just new in Showbiz
- Joross willingly shared to public how Coco was as an extra
Kapamilya actor Joross Gamboa unhesitatingly gave some details regarding Coco Martin’s true attitude when he was just an “extra” in movies and shows.
KAMI learned that the two “Ang Probinsyano” stars already collaborated in projects before but it was Joross who often played more important roles.
According to him, Coco was already an excellent actor even when he was just doing extra roles in movies.
He recalled an instance when they both needed to cry in a scene but it was the former “Ang Panday” star who did it more effectively.
Joross also commended the multi-awarded celebrity for his kindness and humility that never changed even now that he is already an established star.
“Nakasama ko na siya dati pa, sa mga MMK [episodes], nag-e-extra pa lang siya noon. Napag-usapan na namin. Sabi ko nga sa kanya, 'Yung eksena don, mas magaling ka pang umiyak sa akin.
"'Ako, hirap na hirap umiyak, 'tapos nung napanood kita, sabi ko, 'Sino ‘to? Ang galing!'
"Mabait si Coco naman. Down-to-earth. Kinukuwento niya yung mga ganun, yung mga dating pinagdaanan.”
“I’m happy for him and kumbaga, bilang direktor, nirerespeto ko siya. Kapag pumunta kami sa set, ang turing ko sa kanya, direktor. Hindi yung parang totropahin mo lang,” Jorros quipped in an interview with PEP.ph.
In a previous article by KAMI, Joross decided to prank Kathryn Bernardo and the actress’ reaction drew a lot of comments from netizens.
Joross Gamboa, or John Ross Sanchez-Gamboa in real life, is a veteran Filipino actor who was born on November 28, 1984. He is starring in a movie entitled “Tol” with Arjo Atayde and Ketchup Eusebio.
