The Philippine Military has obeyed the order of President Rodrigo Duterte to release an ‘all-out war’ against the militant group—Abu Sayyaf.
KAMI learned that the military has shot canyons and mounted airstrike in Sulu. They also deployed attack helicopters as reported by ABS-CBN News.
"Iyun all-out war po natin versus the terrorist group Abu Sayyaf, tuloy-tuloy po iyan," Col. Gerry Besana said.
"Ang kautusan po kasi ng ating Presidente, ay pulbusin talaga ang mga Abu Sayyaf,” he added.
In a report by GMA News, Gen. Divino Pabayo of JTF Sulu said that they are utilizing all the military in Sulu to fight against the terrorist group.
As previously reported by KAMI, President Duterte visited the church in Jolo where the twin explosions happened last Sunday. The President ordered the military to launch an “all-out war” against the Abu Sayyaf. The bombing in Jolo has caused at least 20 deaths and around 100 people injured.
