Senator Manny Pacquiao earned a guaranteed pay of $10 million or around P500 million for his fight against Adrien Broner, excluding the additional millions of dollars he would earn from the pay-per-view sales.
KAMI learned that the fighting senator revealed what he would do with the majority of his earnings.
In a video report by News 5, Pacquiao said that 60 percent of his earnings will go to the poor and needy.
“Yung perang kinita ko, I’m sure, sinisigurado ko sa inyo, 60 percent niyan mapupunta sa mahihirap,” he promised.
Netizens praised Pacquiao for his generosity:
