Robin Padilla bursts out of anger after knowing a director’s action against his film

Kapamilya actor Robin Padilla could not keep his cool at a veteran director after finding out his actions against the controversial film, “Bato: The Gen. Ronald Dela Rosa Story.”
KAMI learned that the promising celebrity received reports that Direk Lore Reyes blocks his social media friends who promote the aforementioned film.
The said multi-awarded filmmaker is known for helming “Magic Temple” to its success way back in 1996 and he also has an “active political posture.”
Because of this, Robin threw strong words to the director and to the people who also threaten to boycott his film.
He expressed that it is unacceptable for him that his masterpiece is hardly linked to political matters in the country.
Although he stated that he respects the veteran director, the actor could not fathom how a person close to the field of filmmaking is making an outrage about a movie.
“Ano ba naman 'tong mga taong ito? E, artista kami!
“Bakit isinasama niyo… ibu-boycott niyo ang kasama niyo sa pelikulang Pilipino?
"Dahil lang sa pulitika? Ganun na ba tayo kababaw na?
“Sabi ko, ‘tong mga taong ito... alam n'yo minsan dapat ang pagkakaintindi natin sa isang bagay, malawak,” Robin quipped.

The former “Mistah” star emphasized in his statements that politics should never be part of everybody’s daily life.
He also cleared that he is just an artist doing his job and a person must first watch the film and witness its “beauty” before criticizing it.
“Ang pulitika sa buhay natin, dapat parte lang. Hindi yung ibubuhay mo araw-araw.
"Paggising mo pa lang, pulitika agad? F**k that, man!
“Meron tayong mga trabaho sa buhay natin—artista tayo, direktor sila. Trabaho lang 'to!
“Sana bago nila husgahan ang pelikula ni Bato, panoorin mo muna. Tingnan mo muna kung gaano kaganda ang pelikula,” the celebrity concluded.
