Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo, the main suspect for killing AKO Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe got arrested by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) on Tuesday for possession of illegal firearms.
KAMI learned that hours after the arrest, it was reported that Baldo was rushed to the UST Hospital in Legazpi City due to asthma attack as reported by GMA News.
When he was sent in jail, Baldo experienced hyperventilation and his blood pressure went up. At past 11 PM, he was rushed to the hospital.
In a report by CNN Philippines, a family member of Baldo said that he underwent 2D echocardiography test to check his heart condition.
In a report by Inquirer, there were two caliber .45 pistol, magazine for an Uzi loaded with seven live ammunition, ammunition for a grenade launcher, eight ammunition for caliber .45-pistol, and ammunition for an M16 rifle found in the compound of Baldo and these did not have permits.
In a previous report by KAMI, Baldo was labelled as the “mastermind” of Rep. Batocabe’s death by the Philippine National Police. President Rodrigo Duterte also threatened Baldo that he would slap him.
