Senator Antonio Trillanes IV shares that he is planning to teach after his two-term, 12 years serving in the Senate. KAMI learned that Sen. Trillanes believes he has many things to share to the youth.
"Plano kong magturo,” said the Senator.
“I'd like to believe na marami naman tayong mashi-share sa mga kabataan, maituturo sa kanila," he added.
Trillanes also shared the subject he is planning to teach as reported by ABS-CBN News.
“Well, I’m looking at governance and public policy,” Trillanes said.
However, the senator refused to name the school where he plans to teach.
Trillanes has a degree in naval system from the Philippine Military Academy and graduated with latin honor. He took his master’s degree in the University of the Philippines and studied public administration.
As reported by GMA News, Trillanes expressed his stay in the Senate. He called it as “worthwhile experience” and that he learned more about “internal dynamics of lawmaking.”
“Merong frustrating moments, meron ding rewarding moments kapag nakapasa ka ng batas na ramdam ng taumbayan but most of the time parang di sensational ang institutional reforms,” Trillanes said.
“Yung realization, marami pang pwedeng gawin, dito as a senator, peculiar vantage point of seeing the inner part of the government and you have access to a pool of resources to come up with solution. [It’s a] very worthwhile experience,” he added.
The opposition senator said that he does not see himself going back to the Senate yet, but he is leaving it up to fate.
