It has been reported that an armed police killed a leadman who was building his house in a subdivision in riza. KAMI learned that the policeman in rage was re-assigned in Mindanao and had gone AWOL.
According to the report of GMA News, a video captured by a resident showed that the Angono Police was able to catch the suspect known to be PO2 Jojo Appegu of Caloocan Police. The victim who has been constructing a house in the subdivision was named Ronald Alolor.
Angono Police said that Alolor confronted Appegu after the AWOL cop disrespected his architect.
"Pinutukan niya agad 'yung biktima, 'yung leadman ng subdivision. Pagbagsak, 'yung foreman pinalo siya sa kamay, nalaglag ang baril,” said Police Superintendent Glen Magsino.
Magsino added that Appegu went back home to get another gun. However, the AWOL cop said that he was defending himself from the situation.
The suspect also shared that the Alolor and the architect went to him and attacked him. Therefore, he had to fire his gun.
Appegu is now facing charges for murder, attempted homicide, alarm and scandal, and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
