Celebrity politicians predicted to win, lose in local elections

Celebrity politicians are hopeful this elections, but some still need to garner more votes to win according to the latest unofficial tally of Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

GMA actor Alex Castro of National People’s Coalition (NPC) is currently leading the provincial board member race in Bulacan.

Re-electionist Jolo Revilla of Lakas CMD will most likely to secure his position again as the vice-governor of Cavite.

Former Batangas governor and veteran actress Vilma Santos-Recto of Liberal Party is leading the race as the representative of the 6 District of Batangas.

Jukebox Queen Imelda Papin is also eyed as the Congresswoman of Camarines Sur's 4 district.

However, some of the celebrities were not able to use their name to gain the votes in their local elections despite being known to the world of politics.

Action star ER Ejercito is currently losing to independent candidate Ramil Hernandez as the governor of Laguna.

Laguna Board Member and former sexy star Angelica Jones of Liberal Party is currently sitting at the 3 place behind NP’s Katherine Agapay and United Alliance Nation’s Christian Nino Lajara.
