- The Pulse Asia has released the recent survey results for the Senatorial race
- According to the result, Senator Senator Grace Poe led the survey
- Meanwhile, Lito Lapid, Bato dela Rosa and Bong Revilla made it to Top 12 as well
Incumbent Senator Grace Poe has led the Senatorial race in the recent Pulse Asia poll for the upcoming midterm elections. KAMI learned that former PNP chief Bato dela Rosa and recently released from jail and former Senator Bong Revilla made it to the so-called “Magic 12”.
In a recent report by ABS-CBN News, Poe led the survey with 75.6% of voter preference. She was followed by reelectionist Sen. Cynthia Villar with 66.6%. Meanwhile, Sen. Sonny Angara and former Sen. Pia Cayetano tied to third and fourth place.
Making it to the top 12 as well are actors turned former Senators Lito Lapid, Bong Revilla, and Jinggoy Estrada. As well as former PNP Chief and Bureau of Corrections head Bato dela Rosa, former Senator Mar Roxas, and Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos shared the 8th to 15th places
According to the report of Philippine Star, the nationwide survey was based on face-to-face interviews with 1,800 adult participants.
However, the President of Pulse Asia, Ronald Holmes said that having high rankings in surveys do not assure the victory of the Senatorial candidates.
In a previous report by KAMI, Poe and Villar also led the recent SWS survey. Included in the top 12 were former Senators Lito Lapid and Jinggoy Estrada.
