Kapuso comedian Jose Manalo frankly revealed the true reason why he said he wants to work with Kapamilya stars John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo in his next possible projects.
KAMI learned that the confession was made after the comedian became part of the MMFF movie, “Jack Em Popoy” where he got to work with Coco Martin.
Now, Jose is starring in a comedy-drama film directed by Tony Reyes and he was asked about other ABS-CBN artists that he wants to be with in next movies.
The “Eat Bulaga” host initially expressed that there are several celebrities from the rival network that he wants to work with and two of them are John Lloyd and Sarah.
He unveiled that he likes the idea that the two Kapamilya artists have serious-looking faces but they have the ability to do comedies as well.
Jose also emphasized that he sees John Lloyd and Sarah as great co-workers if ever and that he enjoys watching their movies.
"Marami naman kasi. Like sina John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. Kasi mga movies nila 'pag napapanuod ko natutuwa ako. Sa tingin ko mga komedyante rin sila kasi gusto ko naman maka-try 'yung seryosong mukha pero komedyante,” he quipped in an interview with PUSH.
“Mukhang masarap katrabaho. Mukhang masarap kabatuhan sa mga eksena," he added.
