Indonesian singer who lost bandmates also lost his wife to tsunami

- Riefian Fajarsyah lost his Seventeen bandmates when a tsunami hit the resort where they were performing at

- It turned out that his wife Dylan Sahara also died at the resort due to the tsunami

- The singer posted a tribute for his wife

Riefian Fajarsyah, the vocalist of Indonesian pop group Seventeen who lost all of his bandmates when a tsunami hit the venue where they were performing, also lost his wife Dylan Sahara during the event.

KAMI learned that videos of Riefian grieving over the coffin of his wife and delivering a message about his loss have gone viral.

"(She) was not perfect and neither am I, but she never stopped trying to be the best wife. I could not ask for more,” he said, as quoted by ABS-CBN News.

Dylan was a 25-year-old actress who is the daughter of a famous Indonesian politician.

The tsunami, which was triggered by a volcanic eruption, took people’s lives in resorts, beaches and hotels.

As of this writing, over 400 people have been confirmed to be killed by the tsunami.
