A fire affected the area of Barangay Duljo Fatima in Cebu City on Christmas morning. KAMI learned that the residents of Duljo Fatima woke up with fire destructing around 200 houses or around 500 individuals in their place.

According to the report of Cebu Daily News, the fire was reported by 3:47 AM and 4:11 AM. By 6:26 AM, the firefighters declared the fire to be under control.

As per Chief Inspector Noel Nelson Ababon, the damages were estimated at around P3 million. It has been reported that the fire had spread fast due to the light materials.

The Cebu City Fire Marshall said that they are starting the investigation and they would be focusing on conflicting accounts regarding the incident.
