Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez disclosed that the quarrel they had in the past was a major one.
"Para sa akin it was major. Kasi in showbiz, for me, she was my best friend. Nag-away. It was major," Mariel disclosed.
"[It was hurtful] for the both of us and I'm sure it wasn't easy also for you," she added as she was referring to Toni.
Moreover, the Pinoy Big Brother: Otso host also expressed her thoughts about it.
"It was major because, at that time, we were young. It was hard to get over with, it really took time to heal," Toni said.
The two also unveiled how they were able to settle it. They said that time was the one that fixed it.
"Time. Ako tingin ko talaga time, hindi namin pinuwersa," Toni said.
While Mariel supported it and added, "Kasi noong nagkaroon ng time na yung ibang tao ang nagta-try na mag-ayos parang okay, pero hindi pa siya 'yung talagang naging okay na okay na talaga."
When asked about the reason why they had that misunderstanding, Toni answered it honestly and exposed that a lot of people got involved in their former rift.
"Maraming mga na-involve, maraming factors. It was blown out of proportion. It was also something that we could have dealt with between the two of us instead of involving a lot of people."
On the other hand, they also shared the lessons that they've learned from it.
"I think for me, honestly ah, I feel na kaya mas malalim yung friendship namin ngayon kasi may pinagdaanan na ganun," Mariel said.
