A clip showing Lotlot and Christopher de Leon's father and daughter dance during the actress' wedding captured the hearts of the netizens. The very touching and emotional moment was captured and shared by Mariel de Leon on Instagram.
Netizens could not help but feel happy for Lotlot and admired Christopher who is just the adoptive father of Lotlot. The online community also asked why Nora Aunor was not able to attend the wedding.

This prompted Lotlot to address the issue through an Instagram post. In the lengthy message, she thoroughly thought about sharing the personal details of what happened between her and her mom.
“Naisip ko na cguro dapat hindi na dahil may masabi man ako na maganda ay hahanapan pa din ako ng pagkakamali pero naisip ko na hindi ko naman ito ginagawa para sa iba kundi para sa akin at sa aking ina.”
Lotlot also shared the details about the time when she found out she was an adopted child.
“Maaga ko nalaman na ampon ako, ‘Ampon ni Nora,’ yan ang madalas ko naririnig nuon.
"Utang na loob ko ang buong buhay ko sa kanila ni lola.
"Sa mga hindi nakakaalam ang tumanggap sa akin ay ang lola ko… sya ang dahilan kung bakit napunta ako sa kanila.
"Tinanggap nila ako ng buong puso. Nang magkakilala si mommy at daddy inako ako ng daddy ko at ginawang De Leon.
She also pointed out how her mother worked for their family.
"Ang mommy ko ang bread winner sa pamilya nagsumikap na iahon lahat ng mahal niya sa buhay. Nakasanayan naming magkakapatid na lage syang nagtratrabaho.”
She did not go into details about the reason why her mother was not able to make it to her wedding but she stressed that despite the conflicts within the family, their love for each other would always be there.
"Pero kung may tao mang importante na gusto ko din maging bahagi sa mahahalagang okasyon sa buhay ko at buhay ng mga anak ko ay siya. May mga bagay na mahirap ipaliwanag pero sa isang parte lang ako sigurado. Mahal ko siya at alam ko mahal niya din ako kame ng mga kapatid ko.
Lotlot and Fadi had been together romantically for six years before getting engaged. Fadi proposed to Lotlot this July 15, 2018 in Tagaytay. Lotlot de Leon married Fadi El Soury in a private garden wedding ceremony in San Juan, Batangas, this Monday, December 17 as earlier reported by KAMI.
