Despite asking for privacy, Kapamilya actress Aiko Melendez bravely gave an update about her status now with ex-husband Jomari Yllana.
KAMI learned that the estranged celebrity couple was married from year 2000 – 2003 and they have a son named “Andre.”
Aiko revealed through her guesting in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” that it has been two years already since she last had a conversation with former husband Jomari.
She expressed that the actor has a partner now who just gave birth that is why she does not want to meddle with them.
This, the actress said, is her form of respect to Jomari and to his loved one but she admitted that Andre still maintains connection with his father.
“Two years na kaming hindi nag-uusap ni Jom…of course, the partner just gave birth so I don’t want to cause anything naman sa kanilang dalawa and parang respeto ko na lang yun sa kanila,” she quipped.
“Yes, once in a while they talk,” she added pertaining to Andre and Jomari.
