Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana is open to the possibility of having Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray as a military reservist in Armed Forces of the Philippines. KAMI learned that according to Lorenzana, he will be speaking with Gray about it.
"Oo, reservist. Dapat Army siya ah. I'll talk to her kung gusto niyang mag-reservist," Lorenzana quipped.
"That would be an honor to have her visit our camps here," Lorenzana stated.
The reservist can be tapped by the AFP to be deployed to different places should there be any calamities and/or natural disasters. As reported by CNN Philippines, the AFP Reserve Command enlists potential reservists after going through different training like Military Orientation Training Course and the Basic Citizens Military Training.
As previously reported by KAMI, Gray holds a black belt in Choi Kwang Do. The Miss Universe started training martial arts since he was 8 years old and got her black belt when she was 12.
Catriona Gray is the fourth Filipina to ever win in the prestigious international beauty pageant, Miss Universe.
