Suarez Wins, Becomes 2nd Filipino to Join Rio Olympics

After winning against Chinese foe, Charly Suarez has become the second Filipino to qualify in the Rio De Janeiro Olympics.

Suarez, 27, defeated Chinese bet Shan Jun by technical knockout at the Tangshan Sports Centre in Qian’An, China.

According to Rappler, Suarez would join light flyweight Rogen Ladon in Rio after the latter won against his Indian foe.

Suarez will again fight against Otgondalai Dorjnyambuu of Mongolia for the gold, said a report from Spin.ph.
