Miss Universe is a prestigious international beauty pageant which happens annually since 1952. Throughout the years, the Philippines has won the Miss Universe title four times.

In 1969, Gloria Diaz was the first ever Pinay who was crowned in the Miss Universe. She has been active with her acting career and she is the mother of It Girl and actress Isabelle Daza.
Born on March 10, 1951, Diaz was also named as Best Supporting Actress at the prestigious FAMAS Award in her movie Sagrada Familia.
Beauty queen Margarita “Margie” Moran-Floirendo bagged the Miss Universe title in 1973. She was the second Pinay to bring home the crown and she was just 19 years old when she won the title.
Moran has been advocating for peace in Mindanao ever since then. She was born on September 15, 1953. She also serves as the President of Ballet Philippines.
After how many years, Pia Wurtzbach got the crown once again in 2015. After being rejected three times, Wurtzbach proved that she deserves the crown.
Wurtzbach was born on September 24, 1989. She first started as model and actress. Recently, she has been in active in her acting career again and starred in her movie “My Perfect You” with Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson.
In a recent report by KAMI, Catriona Gray has brought pride to the Filipinos by bringing back the crown to the country. Gray was hailed as the Miss Universe 2018.
Gray is a Filipino-Australian TV host, singer, and model born on January 6, 1994. She also joined in the Miss World in 2016.
