A report claimed that Pope Francis blessed the governments, most especially the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte to fight against ‘drug lords’ and ‘drug traffickers’ that are also ‘traffickers of death’. However, KAMI learned that this claim is false.
As website called Philnetizen published an article with a headline saying, “Pope Francis: Paglaban sa drug lords at drug traffickers, tungkulin ng bawat gobyerno”.
According to the post, that Pope Francis allegedly blessed the Duterte administration to have courage and fight against “traffickers of death” as reported by ABS-CBN News.

However, this claim was debunked by French news agency, Agence French-Presse.
