- Former Senator Bong Revilla stated his legislative agenda once he becomes a senator again
- He said that he will not be returning P124.5 million to the Philippine treasury
- Revilla is also eyeing a comeback in show business
Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. shared his plans as he seeks a comeback in the Senate. KAMI learned that one of these is going after who falsely accused him with the ‘pork barrel scam’ as reported by ABS-CBN News.
“Yung legislative agenda meron, para dun sa mga false accusers, dapat may counter tayo diyan dahil hindi tama yung nangyayari,” said Revilla in a press conference with Atty. Estelito Mendoza.
“Kumbaga they really want to hang me. Hanggang ngayon gumagalaw sila. Kung may pamilya kayo, maniwala kayo sa karma, babalik din yan sa inyo,” he added.
When he was acquitted of his plunder case, there have been reports saying that Revilla was ordered by the court to return P124.5 million to the Philippine treasury. However, his camp denied this claim.
“Ano iyung isasauli ko dahil wala naman akong ninakaw sa bayan?” Revilla insisted.
Revilla also shared that he is seeking a comeback in showbiz as well for it was his “bread and butter”.
As previously reported by KAMI, the Sandiganbayan found Revilla “not guilty” of his plunder case with regard to the misuse of Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel. He was set free from detention after four years.
Revilla was an actor before he became a senator in 2004. He was known for his films such as “Ang Panday”, “Alyas Pogi”, “Pepeng Agimat”, “Exodus” as well as his TV show “Kap’s Amazing Stories”.
