KAMI brings this news to the readers to enlighten about the Philippine President’s opinion regarding the appointment of his officials.

"Kung sino lang man ang pumasok sa isip ko na tutal ang hinihingi ko lang naman sa gobyerno ganito if you want to work during my term: You are competent and you are honest, period. Wala na eligibility-eligibility," said the President at the initial awarding of 500 housing units of the First Scout Ranger Regiment at the Scout Ranger Ville in Bulacan.

“I am not trying to degrade the qualification, the level of qualification pero bigyan mo lang ako ‘yung honest person tapos ‘yung hindi corrupt," Duterte added.

In a report by Manila Bulletin, President Duterte threatened those officials who are corrupt or abuse their power.

“Wala na akong seremonya, you just go,” he said.

“The problem is along the way, ang corruption talaga sa gobyerno grabe. Down to the local level,” the President stated.

“I am not nagpapapogi-pogi sabihin na corrupt — incorruptible… Basta ako trabaho lang. I resolve to do my job properly and expect everybody who works for me lalo na sa Cabinet to work honestly also,” he added.
