- Another allegation about Vice President Leni Robredo being part of the ouster plot went around online
- It was posted by Presidential son Paolo Duterte on Facebook
- However, Robredo denied these claims and criticized Duterte
Vice President Leni Robredo called out Presidential son and former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo “Pulong” Duterte for allegedly spreading “fake news” and for being “irresponsible” in her radio program BISErbisyong Leni on RMN-DZXL as reported by Rappler.
KAMI brings this news to the readers to impart knowledge about the alleged ouster plot against President Rodrigo Duterte.
Paolo Duterte accused Robredo for being involved in the ouster plot along with other bishops and known companies. However, Robredo denied all the claims and referred to it as “fake news” as reported by Manila Bulletin.
“Napaka-irresponsible na mag-post ng isang bagay na una, wala namang basehan. Pangalawa, hindi ko alam kung alam niya kung saan iyon nanggaling, kasi obviously, iyong gumawa noon, hindi man langg nag-aksaya ng panahon para mag-research," said Robredo.
“Tinitingnan ko iyong mga kasama kong pangalan doon, parang karamihan doon hindi ko kilala. Ang kilala ko lang doon si Jollibee,” she added.
Robredo also shared maybe Paolo’s intention was to make people laugh.
“Baka ang sadya niya din patawanin tayo. Dahil Christmas, pasayahin tayong lahat,” Robredo quipped.
“Kahit nakakatawa para sa atin, nakalungkot pa din dahil ‘yung mga public officials mas mataas ‘yung responsibilidad magpahayag ng katotohanan,” she added.
Paolo shared through a Facebook post screenshots of an Excel file of list of people allegedly part of the “Anti Administration Group” of the “Oust Duterte Movement”.
The list included Robredo as the “leader of the united opposition”. It also included Senators Leila de Lima, Risa Hontiveros, Bishop Julio Xavier Labayen, Carmen Pedrosa, and Rappler’s CEO Maria Ressa as well as companies like Jollibee Food Corp., Dole Philippines, General Tuna Corp., and PLDT.
However, a netizen debunked the post mostly about the bishops involved.
As previously reported by KAMI, Robredo denied her involvement in Tindig Pilipinas that was reported to be part of the ouster plot made by the communists and rebels. Robredo referred to the claim as “baseless”.
