Elmo Magalona started to get back on track by attending a charity event held by Star Magic. As reported by ABS-CBN news, it is also the time when Elmo opened up about his 2018 journey.

The former 'Born For You' lead star admitted that this year has been tough and challenging for him.

It can be recalled that her former love team, Janella Salvador had a physical abuse accusation against him, so it might be one of the reasons why.

"Yeah, it's really been a challenging year, for me definitely. And I'll be honest, it wouldn't have been possible without the help and love of my family, friends, and yung mga sumusuporta sa akin," he said.

Moreover, Elmo mentioned what he learned from the challenges he had.

"You need to keep good company around you all the time, so that ma-feel mo that you're not alone," Elmo stated.

The son of the iconic rapper, Francis M. also clarified that he's okay now.

"I'm doing fine naman, keeping my focus," he confirmed.
