Nadine expressed through an interview that she was really amazed by the act of her boyfriend because she really loves sports cars.
"I was surprised, I love cars, I was a huge fan of sports cars,” she quipped.
Because of the viral video, a lot of netizens speculated that the white Ferrari is the gift of James to his partner.
“Na shookt si Ateng sa bday gift ng hubby, deserve mo yan,” a netizen even commented.

However, the former PBB housemate ended the rumors and cleared that the luxurious car was not his gift to Nadine.
He reasoned out that he just borrowed the Ferrari from his friend to surprise his girlfriend on that special day.
"I have a friend who owed me a favor and I said if I could borrow a Ferrari, and he let me use it. So it was just a surprise,” James explained.
“It wasn't a gift," he added.
