Veteran actress Cherie Gil bravely took a big swipe regarding how the new and young actors should observe proper etiquette when collaborating with their seniors.

KAMI learned that the actress, who is known for her antagonistic roles even then, made her own version of “Actor’s Etiquette” for young generation of artists.

She expressed that the things stipulated in her guidelines are never taught in several acting workshops when she claimed they are necessary.

One of the etiquette that Cherie mentioned was for the young celebrities to introduce themselves first before greeting their seniors.

It is also important, according to the veteran actress, that new actors should not retell to their colleagues what the director has instructed them to do.

Looking at the cellular phones or retouching while on the set or blocking for a scene must also be no-no for celebrities.

Cherie bravely threatened that she might hurt or walk out on the actors who would be doing the aforementioned things.

Here is the complete list of the Actor’s Etiquette as per Cherie:

"NEVER ever kiss me in greeting, out of so called politeness and courtesy, if I don’t know who the hell you are! Introduce yourself first.

"And pllleeeaaasssee don’t call me TITA unless we are blood related (or super super close fam friends)

"NEVER ever echo the directors instructions to your co actor in the scene. Never TEACH your co actor or tell her/him how he should do the scene or his part UNLESS you need something from the actor which would help you in your own process. BUT ask kindly and humbly

"NEVER look to your Cel phone or retouch while blocking/reading a scene ( I promise I’ll either slap you or walk out on you )

"NEVER ever let ANY actor wait for you when called to the set. ESPECIALLY senior actors

"Art is a collaboration. And there is always room to learn from and grow with one another. So ... please throw your effing ugly EGO out the window.

"There are various kinds of EGO btw. Learn the difference. KEEP the good kind which is necessary for creativity and your own preservation of self worth!”

It can be remembered that in a previous article by KAMI, the actress threw ferocious words on an actor whom she described as “feeling entitled.”

Cherie, or Evangeline Rose Gil Eigenmann in real life, was born on June 21, 1963. She became more popular for her “Lavinia” role in “Bituing Walang Ningning.” In 2015, she was hailed as the Best Actress during the Madrid International Film Festival for her film, “Mana.”
