- Singer Juan Karlos Labajo made a revelation about having threats to his life
- This is after his heated exchange of words with fellow artist Darren Espanto
- JK said that the authorities may have easily known the person already if he dies
Kapamilya singer Juan Karlos Labajo unhesitatingly exposed to public that he received threats to his life after the rift with fellow artist Darren Espanto.
KAMI learned that the two young celebrities got involved in a heated banter which started when JK called Darren a “gay” through his social media account.
Although the former reasoned out that his account was hacked, the rift between the two continued as Darren did not buy his co-singer’s explanation.
However, JK stayed strong with his claims that he is innocent and he had nothing to do with the below-the-belt and now-deleted post.
He expressed that he already talked to the Kapamilya executives and defended that he would not tell a lie in front of them.
“Do I feel bad? I didn’t feel bad kasi I didn’t do anything,” the singer quipped.
“Hindi naman ganun kakapal ang mukha ko para magsinungaling to the extent na pati sa harap ng mga boss,” he added.
Despite already releasing several clarifications, JK emphasized that he will not put his hands up in this controversy.
He also admitted that if he dies, people and the authorities may have the lead already because he has received death threats after the heated exchange of arguments.
“No, I don’t give up,” the singer of the hit song “Buwan” bravely stated.
“Actually, mayroon pa nga akong death threat. Pag namatay ako, naku, baka may lead na kayo… sinasabi ko lang,” he concluded.
In a previous article by KAMI, the The Voice Kids second runner-up got bashed in the online world because of his deleted cryptic messages.
Born on February 5, 2001, JK is a Filipino singer-songwriter who also does acting. He already starred and appeared in some drama series including A Love to Last, Hawak-Kamay, and Pangako Sa 'Yo.
