- A 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' contender, Roel Angot, in 'It's Showtime' received a huge amount of money from the judges
- It was when he was asked to sing songs of each of the judges
- The contestant gained almost 20,000 pesos
On Saturday, in one of the segments of the afternoon show 'Its Showtime' which is the 'Tawag ng Tanghalan', a contender got almost 20,000 pesos.
The lucky man was Roel Angot who was just asked to sing songs that were sung by each of the judges.
It all started when Roel sang a song by Mitoy Yonting who was one of the TNT critics during that day. Mitoy gave him two thousand pesos.
Then, Rey Valera unexpectedly gave him ten thousand pesos after he sang a few lines of Rey's piece 'Pangako Sayo.' The audience as well as the hosts got astounded by the 'Punong Hurado's generous act.
Vice Ganda even teased, "Tignan mo, mas malaki pa yung binibigay ng hurado kesa sa mga papremyo namin."
Eventually, almost all of the 'hurados' gave Roel additional money such as Ogie Alcasid and Randy Santiago.
Vice Ganda was able to encourage Vhong Navarro to give too.
When Anne Curtis tried to ask Roel to sing Vice Ganda's song, unfortunately, he wasn't able to sing them right which was the reason why Vice didn't give him any cash.
