- Actress Carla Abellana opened up about the rivalry of his teleserye and “Halik”
- Both drama series have a similar theme which is about infidelity
- Carla admitted that they are up against a hard-to-beat show
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana promptly spoke up about the rivalry formed between her teleserye, “Pamilya Roces” and its counterpart “Halik.”
KAMI learned that both drama series have trending episodes but the ABS-CBN show still manages to dominate the recent tallied ratings.
The rivalry was established since the two teleseryes are pitted against each other and they have same storyline which is about infidelity.
Pamilya Roces’ lead actress Carla initially admitted that they are going up against a hard-to-beat show of the Kapamilya network.
However, she expressed that there is no problem about it for the artists and it is just up to the management to think of how the difference in ratings should be resolved.
“Matindi talaga ang katapat,” the actress quipped in an interview with PEP.ph.
“Actually, okay lang kasi we don’t think too much of the compettition. Kung meron man kaming kakumpetensiya, sarili namin. Kung meron man po sigurong concern sa competition, ang production, network,” she added.
Carla also emphasized that the actor of Pamilya Roces do not have control over the plot and story of the said teleserye.
This, she stated, becomes the ultimate reason why they should not focus on how to beat the numbers of the rival show.
“Pero kami pong artists, hindi po kami...well, wala naman po sa control namin ang kuwento, wala naman po sa control namin ang script o dami ng manonood,” she stressed.
“Kami, gawin lang po namin ng maayos ang trabaho namin,” she added.
In a previous article by KAMI, it was Dennis Trillo who broke his silence on the newly-formed rivalry between “Cain at Abel” and the still top rating show, “Ang Probinsyano.”
Carla, or Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana in real life, was born on June 12, 1986. She is a Filipina actress and commercial model who became more popular for her role in the Philippine adaptation of Mexican telenovela entitled, “Rosalinda” in 2009.
