Tirso Cruz III’s son Teejay Cruz passes away at age 37

- Former Ang TV star Teejay Cruz, age 37, has died today

- He is the son of veteran actor Tirso Cruz III

- According to Lolit Solis, Teejay had been battling with lymphatic cancer

Tristan Jedidah Cruz, also known as Teejay Cruz, passed away today, November 21, 2018, at the age of 37.

Teejay is the eldest child of Tirso Cruz III and Lyn Ynchausti.

KAMI learned that entertainment writer Lolit Solis posted that Teejay had been battling with lymphatic cancer.

“Na-sad naman ako sa news sa anak nila Tirso Cruz III at Lyn na si TJ, Salve. Sabi ni Dolor, lymphatic cancer daw at kanina lang daw madaling araw bumigay ang panganay nila. Nakaka-sad talaga na iyon anak mo mauna sa iyo na kunin ni God. Ang bait-bait pa naman ng mga anak nila Tirso, sina Bodjie at Janine. Si TJ hindi pumasok ng showbiz. At in fairness ha, pag naghahanap kami ng tulong sa ospital siya ang nilalapitan namin. Tulad nila Tirso at Lyn ang mga anak nila, very friendly at magalang. Sana ma-overcome nila ang sadness na ito,” Lolit wrote.

According to PEP.ph, Teejay used to be a cast member of the Kapamilya show “Ang TV” and part of movies like “Rollerboys” and “Eskapo” before leaving behind showbiz.

After moving on from the entertainment industry, Teejay co-founded a fundraising volleyball tournament called “Spike for Hope” for children with severe illnesses.Tirso and Lyn’s other children are Bodie and Djanin Cruz.
