- Lakers’ Lebron James has set another record in his new team
- He had a season-high record of 51 points as Lakers dominated Heat
- James also shared his deal with Lance Stephenson during the game
Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James has scored a season-high 51 points as they dominated the host Miami Heat with score 113-97. KAMI learned that James led the game with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals as reported by ABS-CBN News.
James has set the record for most points in game between Lakers and Heart. He scored 19 points during the first quarter as reported by USA Today.
When James finished with 51 points with a three-point shot, he pointed to his teammate Lance Stephenson. Why? Stephenson challenged him.
"Lance (Stephenson) told me to finish the game off and said 'I bet you won't shoot a 3,' " James said.
"He said, 'Go for the 3. I bet you won't go for the 3.' So I went for the 3,” he added.
In July 2010, James joined Miami Heat. He became part of The Big Three with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. They won the championship back in 2012 and 2013.
