Coco Martin breaks his silence on possible ‘threat’ of new GMA-7 teleserye

Kapamilya actor Coco Martin unhesitatingly spoke up about the allegations that he is threatened by the new GMA-7 teleserye that will air on the same timeslot as “Ang Probinsyano.”

KAMI learned that the Kapuso network already ended the stint of Victor Magtanggol and gave way for new drama series entitled, “Cain at Abel.”

The said primetime show will star promising Kapuso actors such as Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo.

Because of this move, some netizens claimed that this program which will be pitted against “Ang Probinsyano” can already surpass or match its ratings.

However, for the lead actor, writer, and director of the top-rating ABS-CBN show, giving too much attention to the new teleserye is not his priority now.

Coco expressed that his and the production team’s focus is how to give the viewers a good story that is also high in moral values.

"Hindi ko actually iniisip… Sa akin kasi trabaho namin ito pare-pareho. Hindi ko siya tinitingnan na, 'Uy, may bagong show,'” the Kapamilya celebrity quipped.

"Ang gusto naming focus ay yung mabigyan ng magandang kuwento ang mga manonood at mabigyan ng moral values ang mga ginagawa natin,” he added.

The former Juan Dela Cruz star also emphasized that he and his team know their responsibilities particularly in making the number one drama series as of now.

"Alam naman namin ang responsibilidad namin sa teleseryeng ginagawa namin,” he concluded.
