- Raymart said that an actress inspired her to be a new Kapamilya artist
Former Kapuso actor Raymart Santiago finally confirmed that he is now joining the Kapamilya network after nearly two decades of being with its rival.
KAMI learned that although the promising celebrity is just new to ABS-CBN, he will be one of the faces that the viewers will see in the new Christmas Station ID.
Raymart frankly expressed that the reason for his transfer is the opportunity to work with Judy Ann Santos.
The former Tsuperhero star admitted that he could not resist the offer of having to be with the said actress again in future project.
“Siyempre, sino ba namang tatanggi ‘pag kinuha ni Judy Ann Santos, ‘di ba? In-offer sa akin ‘yung show,” he quipped in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
"Nagpaalam naman ako (sa Kapuso network),” he added.
Together with Judy Ann, Raymart will be starring in what is described as the biggest TV productions of ABS-CBN next year which is “Starla.”
Without mentioning other details about the much-awaited Dreamscape program, the 45-year-old actor assured that the public will like the new show.
“I’m sure magugustuhan ng mga manonood ito,” the veteran celebrity claimed.
Meanwhile, because of his recent transfer, Raymart explained that he is still grasping how a Kapamilya artist works.
He also gave few words to describe the difference between being an actor in the Kapuso network and in ABS-CBN.
“First show ko sa Channel 2 ito, kaya naninibago, nangangapa pa. Slowly, okay naman,” Raymart stated.
“Sa work, iba ‘yung style. Sa kabila, ‘pag nag-su-shoot, isang take or dalawa. Dito, ilang takes dahil different angles, iba ‘yung gamit na camera. ‘Yung technical side, iyon lang naman ang nabago. ‘Yung style ng directing, parang movie,” he added.
In a previous article by KAMI, Joey De Leon’s son Keempe was also seen in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID which confirmed that he is now a Kapamilya artist after 16 years of being with GMA.
Born on July 20, 1973, Raymart is a Filipino TV personality who became part of several drama series including My Korean Jagiya, Hanggang Makita Kang Muli, and The Half Sisters.
