- The veteran filmmaker revealed how he will put his touches in the new teleserye
Veteran director Toto Natividad already bid goodbye to the top-rating teleserye, “Ang Probinsyano” to sign a contract with the Kapuso network.
KAMI learned that the said filmmaker is set to be at the helm of one of GMA-7’s upcoming drama series entitled, “Cain at Abel.”
The new teleserye, which will star Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo, will replace “Victor Magtanggol” in its timeslot and be pitted against ABS-CBN’s “Ang Probinsyano.”
Toto expressed that he is just waiting for other documents to be finalized before he becomes the official director of the new drama-action series.
With regards to how he will put his touches on “Cain at Abel,” Toto explained that he wants the new show to have the aura of a true action film.
He revealed that it is the secret for other counterpart series to have difficulty in matching what is to be shown in the program.
In a previous article by KAMI, Alden Richards admitted that his “Victor Magtanggol” is having a hard time surpassing or matching the ratings of the Coco Martin show.
“Ang Probinsyano” is a primetime drama series in ABS-CBN that first aired in 2015. It is currently on its third book which is the political arc. The series was based on Fernando Poe Jr.’s 1997 movie of the same title.
