- All government workers will be having their bonus and cash gift
- The Department of Budget and Management will start releasing bonuses on November 15
- The year-end bonus will be the same as a full-month salary
It has been announced by Department of Budget and Management (DBM) that starting November 15, government workers all over Philippines will be getting their year-end bonus and cash gift.
KAMI learned that the bonus equates to the full month salary and the cash gift is worth P5,000. Through their Facebook post, the DBM allocated P29.7 billion for the year-end bonus of civilian personnel. Meanwhile, they have P6.5 billion for the year-end bonus of military and uniformed personnel.
According to Budget Circular No. 2016-4, all civilian personnel (regular, contractual or casual) appointed or elected in Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches will be given the bonus. As well as those in Commissions and Constitutional offices. Officials and employees in local government units, military and uniformed personnel as well as barangay officials will also receive the bonus.
For the guidelines, the personnel should be able to render 4 months of service anytime between January 1 to October 31, 2018. Even those who remain in the government service on October 31 can still get the bonus.
