Now-Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith exposed to public that she did not follow what her sister Anne Curtis wanted when she was in the midst of making decision for network transfer.
KAMI learned that the younger Curtis-Smith signed a contract with GMA-7 on April 17, 2018 after staying in TV5 for six long years.
Jasmine expressed that she weighed her options carefully before she finally made a decision about which network to go to.
She even disclosed that her sister Anne tried to convince her to transfer to the Kapamilya network so that they can be together.
However, the young actress explained that she found herself different from her “ate” and that she wants to sign a contract with the Kapuso network.
“Kasi actually, inisip na rin yan na mas masaya if I go to where she is, para magkasama na kami, mas may tsansa kaming magkita for work,” Jasmine quipped in an interview with PEP.ph.
“But sadyang we’re so different, and she wants me to go to ABS, I want to go to GMA,” she added.
With regards to the reason why she rejected Anne’s request, the promising celebrity stated that she just feels the culture of GMA-7 fits her well.
Jasmine also claimed that she can overcome the challenges and difficulties that she will be facing when she is in channel 7.
“In all honesty and seriousness, parang ano lang, parang siguro mas bumabagay lang ako sa culture ng GMA ngayon, kung paano ako ngayon. Alam kong mas magiging magaan ako and yung pagbalik ko sa TV pag sa GMA ako…” she uttered.
“I just feel like yung challenges dito, yung GMA will be more… ano ba? Mas kaya kong lagpasan yung mga challenges dito,” she added.

Born on April 6, 1994, Jasmine is a Filipino-Australian actress and model who already starred in several mainstream and independent movies including Dementia, Siargao, and Imagine You and Me.
