Several Filipino celebrities expressed their grief on social media for the passing of the famous comic book superhero creator, Stan Lee.
KAMI learned that Stan, who was known for creating Spiderman, X-Men, and Avengers, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California on November 12.
Because of this, some TV personalities in the Philippines who are avid fans of superheroes paid tribute to the Marvel legend.
Cosplayer Alodia Godiengfiao recalled on her post the time when she met Stan way back in 2016.
“He was so nice and one funny thing I can never forget is that he kicked my bag on the floor to get closer to us for the selfie,” she wrote.
Kapuso actress Manilyn Reynes also took to social media her condolences to the legendary man.
She said that her family is a big fan of Stan and he served as one of the inspirations of the celebrity’s son.
“The family's always been a big fan of your creations. My husband read your comic books when he was young. My boys draw and you have been one of their inspirations,” she quipped.

Other famous celebrities such as Juancho Trivino, Ryan Eigenmann, Joross Gamboa, DJ Sam YG, Singer Jet Pangan, and Director Sid Maderazo expressed the sadness they feel upon knowing the unfortunate news.

Stan, or Stanley Martin Lieber in real life, was born on December 28, 1922. He was an American comic book writer and the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics. He also allotted time for charity works as he established the Stan Lee Foundation which focuses on literacy, education, and the arts.
