Motherhood has never been an easy job. Being a mother and raising kids could be the hardest role ever. Carrying a baby in your womb for nine months is beyond difficult. Giving birth could really be painful, most especially when it is a normal delivery. Motherhood is a lifetime commitment. However, it does not end there and it will all be worth it once you hold your baby.

The cost of having a baby in the Philippines could actually be painful in the pockets of many. It includes checkups, health supplements, ultrasound and miscellaneous that could reach up to P87,000 to P150,000 as reported by iMoney.

KAMI has learned from Smart Parenting and The Asian Parent how much it costs to give birth in the Philippines. Spoiler alert, it could reach up to hundreds of thousands. It depends on the location or the hospital and whether it is Caesarian section (CS) or normal spontaneous delivery (NSD).
