If you’re as beautiful and as talented as Maja Salvador, it is but understandable why men go gaga over her having been linked to the likes of Carlo Aquino, Matteo Guidicelli, and Gerald Anderson.

In a recent post by Showbiz Chika, the 30-year old recalled who inspired and motivated her to work hard in this very competitive industy.

Salvador said, “Siguro hindi ako ganito ka-inspired sa trabaho ko kung hindi dahil sa kanya. Hindi ko siguro napahalagahan ang trabaho ko kung hindi dahil sa experience niya, sa mga kuwento niya. Ang sarap niyang kausap tungkol sa buhay.”

This, of course, referring to John Lloyd Cruz, who was one of the very rare celebs not to be linked with the Kapamilya dance princess.

“Si Lloydie, hindi ko man siya dyowa, pero ang tawag ko sa kanya ‘Tatay’. Siya yung kapatid ko na sana kapatid ko talaga,” she added.

If it weren’t for the care and guidance of John Lloyd Cruz, Maja wouldn’t have been where she is today.

She even mentioned in her interview that JLC once gave her a limited edition, and very expensive if we may add, Cartier watch.
