- Arnell Ignacio comes to the defense of Regine Velasquez after bashers hit her hard for moving to ABS-CBN
- Many judged Regine Velasquez saying that she did it because of money
- The comedian then shut them all up in just one post
Arnell Ignacio came to the defense of Regine Velasquez after many bashers threw a lot of negative comments against her.
KAMI learned that there were those who insinuated that Regine transferred because of money.
Arnell, who happens to be a very good friend of Regine, defended his friend, since he could no longer take all the bashing thrown against Regine.
He said that for those people who don't know a thing about how the entertainment industry works, they better shut up.
The comedian went on to explain that there's no longer a place in GMA-7 where Regine could sing.
She has gone through all the trials and the heartaches that a singer could possibly go through but she surpassed them all.
He recounted the time when Regine was then Chona Velasquez whom they would "insert" in their gigs.
Now that she has reached her success, people would simply have to give her recognition.
It's her job to sing and it is obvious that she would have to be paid. He then apologized to Ogie Alcasid for defending Regine because he could no longer take what the bashers were saying.
Here's the full post of Arnell:
"Yung mga bumabatikos kay Regine na ang sasakit ng sinasabi pero walang nalalaman sa kalakaran ng entertainment, e, ang sasarap niyong pagsasampalin.
“Saan mo ba lalagay si Regine sa programa ng 7 sige nga?
“Saan mo siya pakakantahin na programa ng 7?
“Ano naman yung comment ng ‘paiyak-iyak pa, I see the peso sign?’
“Sarap mo dagukan. Ano ba sa tingin niyo si Regine, welfare officer?
“Trabaho niya kumanta at may bayad yun natural.
“Kung malaki ibabayad sa kanya ano nakakapagtaka run.
“E, si Regine Velasquez yan.”
“Regine is a friend of mine way back na Chona Velasquez pa yan at sinisingit singit lang namin sa sing-along sa BBs kapag wala na kaming joke.
“This woman went through all the test of an entertainer and she passed all these with exemplary grades with even more to give.
“Sa inyo na walang alam be, thankful that we have Regine Velasquez.
“Listen to her singing enjoy it and shut up.”
