Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, the youngest son of President Rodrigo Duterte has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) as he runs to be the vice mayor of Davao City.
KAMI has learned from Manila Bulletin that Baste was accompanied by his sister, re-electionist Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
On the other hand, their brother, Paolo Duterte is also running for Congress.
As previously reported by KAMI, Baste was spotted supporting his sister’s Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP). However, said he did not want to enter politics at first.
“I have no political plans.. Hindi naman that I don’t consider because I need to plan things out, pero yung inclination ko, hindi talaga doon papunta,” he said as reported by PEP.ph.
“As much sa possible, gusto ko talaga iwasan, kasi wala, e, magulo,” he added.
Baste Duterte is tagged as the 'rebel son' of President Duterte. He is also an endorser, surfer, and vocalist.
