- Angelica Panganiban cited Maja Salvador as the reason for her second breakup with Carlo Aquino
- Maja has spoken up about the controversy on “Magandang Buhay”
- The actress clarified that Carlo courted her when he had already broken up with Angelica
Angelica Panganiban revealed on “Gandang Gabi Vice” that during her second relationship with Carlo Aquino, the latter left him so that he could be in a relationship with Maja Salvador, as reported earlier by KAMI.
KAMI learned that Maja has finally opened up about that viral interview.
On the Kapamilya talk show “Magandang Buhay,” Maja explained that Angelica just made mistakes during the interview and that their breakup was not caused by Carlo’s third-party relationship with her.
Maja clarified that when Carlo courted her, he and Angelica have already broken up, making it impossible that there was a third party relationship between the two of them.
The “Wildflower” actress added that Carlo also courted other ladies before courting her, which makes the “third party” accusation improbable.
Despite this, Maja said that Angelica is her friend and that she does not want her fans to bash the latter since it is common for people to make mistakes during interviews.
PUSH also reported Maja’s other comments about Angelica during the press conference for her movie “To Love Some Buddy.”
"Wala kaming bad blood ni papa (her nickname for Angelica), okay kami. Bago nga ilabas 'yun nagkamessage-an kami, nagkapalitan kami ng text message. She explained everything," Maja said.
Angelica’s viral interview on GGV took place in the middle of her promotion of her movie with Carlo Aquino entitled “Exes Baggage.”
The movie has become a box office phenomenon, earning over P300 million nationwide.
It was directed by Dan Villegas and there are even rumors of a sequel for the film.
