- Bobby Pacquiao has filed his COC to seek a seat in the House of Representatives
- He will be running as a representative of OFW Family Club party list
- Bobby was accompanied by his brother Manny Pacquiao when he filed for COC
Bobby Pacquiao is the younger brother of People’s Champ, Manny Pacquiao. Bobby has filed his Certificate of Candidacy to run in the House of Representatives under OFW Family Club party list on Tuesday.
KAMI has learned that Manny accompanied his brother during the filing of COC in Commission on Elections (Comelec).
According to Bobby, the reason he is running as a Representative is because he knows the feelings of being an overseas Filipino worker whenever he fights in the US.
“Naramdaman ko rin ‘yung mga OFW natin kaya tulungan natin ano mang problema,” he said.
Manny has also shown his support to his brother.
“Sinamahan ko 'yung kapatid ko na isa sa mga nominee ng party-list ng OFW Family... konsehal siya ng GenSan tapos OFW din dati at saka nag-decide siya na kailangan ng matibay na proteksyon ang ating OFW,” he said.
Back in 2016, Alberto “Bobby” Dapidran Pacquiao won as a councilor in General Santos. He is also a professional boxer who brought pride and honor to the country.
