During the filing of COC, Villar was asked regarding her vote in favor of Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN Law) which contributed to the continuous increase of prices of goods and services.

“Kasi alam naman nila na noong bumoto tayo sa Train law, hindi natin na-predict na tataas ang presyo ng gasolina and masyado mag-te-take advantage ‘yung mga traders,” Villar said.

“It’s lesson learned. Anyway, in everything we do, we learn lessons,” she added.

In case they both win, it will be their second term serving in the Senate.

As previously reported by KAMI, Poe was leading the Pulse Asia survey for the senatorial race. In another report, KAMI has listed the senators who filed their COC during the first and second day of filing.
