- Saab Magalona just got ‘mom-shamed’ for singing at a gig
- The 29-year old was not fazed by the comment but amused
- Several netizens came to her rescue defending the new mom stating that there was nothing wrong in what she did
In a recent Twitter post by Saab Magalona, she – with a surprised reaction – posted that she was just recently ‘mom-shamed’ for singing. The good thing about Saab is that she didn’t even bother mentioning who ‘mom-shamed’ her even though we all want to know who it was. It would be a juicy story most especially if the person in topic is a friend or even a celebrity friend.
The 29 year old daughter of Rap Icon Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona – both hardworking people – was shocked when she was being criticized for singing when she recently just gave birth.
A lot of fans came to her rescue and sided with her.
One even pointed out that being a working mom is something new.
If Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Britney Spears can do it, so can she.
It just goes to show how much of a dark place the internet can be. On one end of the spectrum you see all the good in people. On the other, well, not too much.
