Filipina singer Lea Salonga once again expressed her brave opinions, this time regarding the newly-released music video featuring Juan Karlos Labajo and Maureen Wroblewitz.
KAMI learned that the video, which became trending in social media, showed maturity of the The Voice Teen finalist as other netizens described his role as “daring” and “bizarre.”
After watching the music video, Lea immediately commented that she was uncomfortable with the role that JK played in the viral clip.
She also stated that she finds the young singer as a kid and bravely hinted that JK’s role in the trending video was inappropriate for his age.
“Next up: Juan Karlos, whose video makes me a little uncomfortable only because I'll always see him as a literal child,” the former Miss Saigon wrote.
However, Lea commended the promising singer for the impressive vocals that he delivered while singing the new song.
She even showed her appreciation to JK by saying that she is proud of what he already achieved at his young age.
“But wow. So impressive the vocals, ha?! I'm very proud!” Lea quipped.
