Halalan 2019: Senatorial candidates na nag-file ng COC

- Naging matagumpay nga ang filing of certificate of candidacy mula October 11-17, 2018

- Umabot ng 152 ang nagnanais na mapabilang sa Senado

- Ilan na nga dito sina Imee Marcos, Harry Roque, Bong Go, Freddie Aguilar at Dr. Willie Ong

Noong October 11 nga ay nagsimula na ang filing ng certificate of candidacy (COC) para sa darating halalan sa 2019. Hanggang October 17 naman binigay na deadline ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa mga nais tumakbo para sa Halalan 2019.

Nalaman naman ng KAMI sa CNN Philippines na umabot na ng 152 ang nag-file ng COC sa Comelec 131 raw dito ay kalalakihan at 21 naman ang kababaihan.

Samantala, 185 party-lists naman ang naghain ng kanilang certificate of nomination and acceptance.

Ang lahat ng pangalang nabanggit ay i-re-review pa ng Comelec officials. Lalabas daw ang official list ng qualified candidates sa December 15.

Maaaring mapalitan ang isang candidate. Kung sino man ang may nais pumalit sa kanya ay maaaring mag-file ng COC mula November 30, 2018 hanggang May 13, 2019.

Ilan nga sa mga naiulat ng KAMI ang pag-file ng COC nina Senators Grace Poe, Cynthia Villar, Bam Aquino, at JV Ejercito.

Naireport din ng KAMI ang pagbabalik sa Senado nila dating Senador Lito Lapid, Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada at Bong Revilla.

Nag-file rin ng COC ang mga first-timers na sina Dr. Willie Ong, Jiggy Manicad, Imee Marcos, Bato dela Rosa, Bong Go at Harry Roque.
