Dr. Vicki Belo, one of the most successful dermatologists in the country, admitted that the rising costs in the Philippines have negatively affected her income.

KAMI learned that Belo admitted that her income is much lower than it used to be due to the increasing inflation rate in the country.

Despite the increasing costs and the higher taxes on beauty procedures nowadays, the owner of Belo Medical Group decided not to pass the burden on her customers.

"My income today is a lot lower than it used to be. The gross is much bigger but the net is much smaller because everything is just so expensive…

"We feel the pressure from that end but we don't wanna pass it on to the consumer if it is not necessary," Belo told ABS-CBN News.
